Minor enhancement works are still ongoing within the hotel until September 10, 2026; however, all facilities are fully operational, and guest experience remains uninterrupted. The hotel notifies the guests that when staying in a two-bedroom room guests are asked to pay double the city tax. For Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners, guests may be charged separately at the hotel. Access to the Riva Beach Club beach is closed. All guests at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel now have free access to the Kite public beach. Kite Beach is an open beach area with restaurants and coffee shops. The sunbeds and umbrellas need to be rented. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the public Kite Beach according to a set schedule, twice from the hotel to the beach and twice back from the beach to the hotel. Shuttle buses run on a first-come, first-served basis. The beach towels can be provided at the hotel, a refundable deposit of AED 100.00 per towel is required and once returned. The Executive Lounge is no longer available at the hotel.
