Renovation work will be carried out at the hotel.
Although the hotel will be temporarily closed, the renovations will include refurbishing the remaining guest bathrooms, specifically replacing bathtubs with built-in shower stalls.
In addition, the lobby, the all-day dining restaurant on the ground floor, the lobby bar, the main pool, and the gardens will also be renovated. The work is scheduled for completion on October 15, 2026.
Please note that McGettigan’s JBR will remain open throughout this period, with direct street access.
The rooms’ inventory, along with Vero, Trader Vic’s, H2O, the pool, and the beach restaurant, Wavebreaker, will be operational again from 1st September 2025.
As of 25th August, Hilton Dubai Jumeirah will re-open 2 additional venues: Trader Vic’s JBR as well as the brand new lobby lounge cafe, Taliah’s cafe. The private beach, pool facilities including H2O pool bar, Italian restaurant Villa Verona, and Irish Pub McGettigan’s JBR at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah are also open and ready to welcome guests. While some upgrades still continue at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, no facilities at Hilton Dubai The Walk are impacted. Dining options, as well as fitness and recreation facilities, continue to operate as usual. Additionally, the kids club and spa services are also available at Hilton Dubai The Walk.
Hilton Dubai Jumeirah is re-opening its doors on 25th August with enhanced offerings. This includes a refreshed Italian restaurant Villa Verona (formerly Vero), a brand new lobby lounge cafe, Taliah’s cafe, and Trader Vic’s JBR. The pool and beach facilities are also fully operational and McGettigan’s is ready to welcome guests.
While the property is still finalizing some upgrades, Wavebreaker Beachside Restaurant as well as Oceana Kitchen remain closed for now. We look forward to unveiling these new spaces as well as our brand new adults-only pool with an adjacent garden area soon.
