Since October 2017, all owners of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are required to register their devices with the National Television and Radio Commission of Thailand (NBTC). In case of violation of the order, Thai law provides for a penalty of up to five years in prison and / or a fine of up to 100 thousand baht (about 3 thousand US dollars). Under the new immigration procedures, effective May 1, 2025, all foreign nationals entering Thailand by air, land or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online form on the official website of the Bureau of Immigration of Thailand three days prior to arrival. Front desk is open 24/7. Starting from 10.09.2026, pool No. 3 at the Kata Sea Breeze Resort will be closed for urgent repair work. Estimated duration: a maximum of 10 days. The other three pools on the hotel grounds will operate as usual during this period. ​​ The hotel requires a cash or credit card pre-authorized holding deposit of THB 1500.00 or USD 100.00 per stay upon check in as security for any incidentals. This deposit will be refunded back to the guest at check-out upon room inspection. Guests can charge incremental bills from the resort's outlets to their room but cash is not accepted for safety reasons.
